True.The point is that Miami will be more competitive matchup for Boston than Chicago would've been.
For Boston it's about getting through a series quick to avoid injuries and conserve energy for the next round, playing against the Bulls would've been an easier matchup with less fight/energy. Miami even if they lose you're gonna be in a dogfight with them and that's the point I'm making.
It's not about thinking the Heat will beat Boston it's more about how draining the matchup can and will be for the Celtics, Chicago wouldn't give that same energy.
The celtics would still win a series against either team but against Miami, Boston will have to earn and merit it. A series against Chicago would be quick, easy, low event and painless. A series against Miami would be long, grinding, painful and tiring. Heat could push the celts to the limit, to a game 7. It would be impossible for the Bulls to extend the series to 5. They could not be able to do it.
