Without Coby taking this leap this year, the Bulls would be the worst team in the NBA, I'm not even joking.
But Maxey seems like a lock. After the break Coby really cooled off and then he hurt his hip after that and missed some games. He's really just started looking like himself again the last few games (Knicks game and this one)
Had he never slumped a little after the break I think he would have gotten it... which is crazy considering Lauri won it last year. How many GMs drafted 2 MIP winners let along in back to back seasons?
The last time they played DeMar being on some fukk shyt ruined the end of the game for them

You have to blame Zach for not fulfilling his potential. With his type of athleticism and quickness, he should be a way better cutter and screener, it would open up the Bulls offense immensely. It's on him if he wants to take his game to the next level
Ehh... at best Lavine is a marginal upgrade to White at this point when considering performance and price.

We've barely seen healthy Zach and this version of Coby. LaVine buying in and getting back to All Star Level with MIP Coby is the best backcourt in the NBA
When he came back this season from injury he was playing team basketball and had some nice games. Just sucks because Bulls fans probably won't get to see both guys play at their peaks at the same time.
Same thing happened with Jimmy and Rose. If only Chicago had a developed Jimmy Butler when they were making ECFs runs
