It gives you more control over your shot animation instead letting the CPU decide. I especially like it for bank shots from the high post/elbow area and for using your body to shield layups with smaller guards.

The ai will literally walk back on defense while your opponent turboes past all of them for an easy dunk.

Deadass, by the time you score and your opponents inbound the ball your teammates are barely past the halfcourt line.

How do you shield your body?

For example if you are driving use the hand opposite of whichever hip defender is on. So if the defender is on your right hip, flick the pro stick left and you'll get animations that at most will result in a foul, but you wont get blocked unless someone gets it from behind.

True statement right here @904 @houston911 @Black we might have to add this as a rule the sprinting after made buckets. It's being abused like hell in random games

Honestly I don't have the same issues with defending turbo cheese and playing transition D as everyone else. Typically I just set the defense to limit transition and if I see a dude tryna turbo his way to the rim I just switch to a big and set up in the paint.

Maybe its because I'm playing with Chicago but I'm still undefeated with them...taken out Cleveland a few times
