More classic teams

2000 Vince/TMAC Raptors
2008 Celtics
2001 Lakers

Better looking shoes
More realistic crowd, better playoff atmosphere for playoff crowds
Says they're working on something big regarding animations

Maybe real time physics? :ehh:

Are they going to fix online?

If they are going to invest a lot of time in mycareer they need to have different paths for your player. I think the whole "story" for mycareer was awful and its corny. Plus in a lot of the cutscenes I couldn't hear what anybody was saying to me.

They should allow players to have a choice as to how they are getting into the NBA. They need to have some sort of preliminary games to determine your draft position like in the older games. If your play good in the game you could be a top 10 pick, a lottery pick, late first, second rounder. If you suck in the games you will go undrafted and have to play in the d-league.

I sort of like the off the court stuff in mycareer but they need to add more of it and add depth. Different things could happen to your player and your team depending on how your player plays on the court and how your respond to situations off the court.

They should add the ability to hire your own agent, publicist, pr team, etc.

Also they need to cut out the whole VC as your payment for your contract.

The biggest improvement needs to be the teammate A.I. and the coach A.I.

Overall they should make this into an RPG like experience but I doubt they have the time and resources to do it.

The problem with these type of modes is that they're geared towards people who want their player to be some otherworldly monster who is winning MVP and putting up all time numbers in his second season. It's like my brother who always creates himself on games and gives himself a 99 in every category, pure fantasy.

Not just an NBA 2K problem, I remember playing Road to the Show and in no time I had an all time great SP.

Until they add in add in the potential for failure, I'll never get deep into any of these modes. But no one wants to play out that Kwame Brown, or Patty Mills career so it'll never happen.

This is true. I've dominated the games so much now that I try to pace myself in games and under the right circumstances I even try to lose to teams. I will say though since this is one of the hardest 2k games in recent memory that if you play HOF there's no guaranteed success from a winning standpoint. If you're on a bad team on this game the cards are stacked against you much more than ever before. I won a MVP (not 2 just because I ended up simming a lot of my 3rd season) in Orlando and dragged them to the playoffs twice and the playoffs were hell, got to the 2nd round first, then the ECF and lost to Cleveland both times. Went to Chicago and now I can't lose like on previous 2k games though.

I think once they inevitably perfect the gameplay, they need to tune the A.I. so that on higher difficulties they play smarter, rather than just cheap. Then re-tune the teammate grade system so that instead of it being based on moment-to-moment actions, you should get a grade based on your total body of work after the game is over, that way you can get penalized harsher for taking too many shots, turnovers, fouling too much, etc. and then that determines whether you gain or lose minutes, get traded, etc.

The feeling of being overpowered always eventually gets old, and I end up switching over to Association/MyLeague after awhile on every 2k.

Changes I want in 16:

Get rid of the shytty animations. I am tired of guys just launching into dunks/layups with no momentum or startup. Tired of getting sucked into defenders. Tired of the corny strip animation whenever a big gets a rebound.
Get rid of the shot release and just use true percentages like before
Get rid of the drastic percentage drop at point blank range if a defender is around. Its ridiculous the amount of point blank shots missed with great scorers around.
Bring back OA
Bring back lobbies
In my player, I know its arcadey but add some realism to it. My park is ruined because you have these 7'2 monstars running around with 99 ratings in 3's, rebounding, handles, etc. Put a cap on attributes.
Integrate with spotify on the PS4 and let us build our own custom soundtracks
Add some flow to the AI. Its better but the CPU still does dumb shyt like drift over with their defender to the strong side ruining plays. Still too much crowding making entry passes to the post difficult. Defenders still give too much room to shooters even when you adjust ball pressure settings.

Thats all I can think of. 2k is on the right path. 15 was a vast improvement over 14 in terms of netcode, modes, etc.

if crew isn't on it then it's nothing but a glorified roster update with more canned animations
