I absolutely suck on defense. i hold L2 but notice i get blown by when holding L2 and trying to use the left stick to move. Am I supposed to let L2 go when I'm trying to cut a drive off. I give up so many layups I damn near broke my controller. Any help from the brehs would be nice

I hold L2 and R2 when moving side to side and trying to cut off drives, but I let off those two buttons when I'm just moving around . You kinda have to use your own judgement about when to lay off the button tho

l2 is lateral movement... when you d'ing up close on a guy going east/west

think like real life... if a dude is getting low to guard you, what's your best bet? blow by him at full speed...

so as a defender, you gotta d him up and be ready to (let go of l2) chase down/stay in front of him if he gets by you to the basket

The game doesn't suck it just doesn't have replay value to me anymore, I go to park, it's the same ol crap from last year, everybody has the same jumpshots, same dribble moves, it's so predictable, it aint fun to me. nikkas think they nice doing those moves, using that jumpshot, ol monkey see monkey do ass nikkas.

And 2K crossed the line with monetized bullshyt, spend 500,000 VC and you can walk around with a pet tiger..... nikka for what?

There is no DEFENSE in this game.

It's better offline because the CPU won't exploit the defensive flaws but online when you're playing against players that know how to abuse the fastbreak the game is an embarrassment.

Patch 1.03 wont install for me. Ive deleted and redownloaded and installed the entire game from scratch numerous times. fukkin sick of this shyt. My googles aint help...

This game is the only reason I got a fukking Xbox One and they released this bullshyt.

when four of my players are in the paint ignoring their assignment and just stare at the ball giving up an offensive rebound

the game is too animation heavy. every year they say they tweaked them. but nah... if you play te game enough and know the animation sequences, you can do a lot of lame shyt.
