I'm smacking dudes with Carmelo

Literally last 3 games Carmelo had more than my oponents entire team. He is my sole Offense and brings the ball up almost every play. Had nikkas rage pausing and quitting after every melo bucket.

One game a smart dude fouled him out and had me depending on Jose Calerodon the game winner.

Yo so I just played some dude that would literally send triple teams at me everytime I crossed half court.

nikka did everything out the cheeser fukkboy play book.

Offball D
Offball Zone D
nikka really paused after every play

I beat him eventually cuz he can't shoot with Melo and his main threat was Robin Looez dunks off the AI not getting back

Sent him messages calling him a fakkit lil gutless nikka didn't respond just paused toll his clock was low then used all his timeouts

Who raises these nikkas?

He's a fakkit but What's wrong with offball D? I only gaurd one player on ball like in my player mode. The cpu is more steady than me on the perimeter but thing with off ball D is if u get by it the paint is completey open. So how is that cheese?

It's not spam. It's dificult and satisfying af to score with melo when ur being doubled and ur opponent maxed out the tight defense coverage on melo. I use a variety of moves, ISO, screens, cuts, post up I play like real life knicks offense. The team rating is only 74 for a reason.

It's cuz it's lazy and cheap breh. Do you let the cpu score for you ? If you gonna sit back and play one side of the ball what's the point? Any nikka that sits back hiding offball using the center ain't shyt to me

Now switching on pick and rolls to manually defend them is fine

Anybody playing with the Hornets? Kemba Walker may be the worst starting point guard in 2K history. His jumper is sandpaper dry and if you do get to the paint he either gets stripped or blocked. Meanwhile my opponents just turbo to the hole. I guess this is what I deserve for playing with a tier 3 team.

Your teams AI in rebounding and protecting the paint is absolute triddash though, they never box out and just stand there when someones driving an open lane. Playing off ball as your center (and not switching off when your man is given the ball) is a skill in that of itself

I ain't indulging nikkas in a back and forth about off ball D...if you playing off ball D all game you got no game. I don't care how you slice it breh your trash. I play on ball d all game and have no problem getting boards offensive or defensive. No way no how it's lazy and cheap

It has been well established in the NBA 2K constitution that any person who plays Off-ball D for WHATEVER reason is garbage PERIOD.

It falls under those unwritten gamer rules like if its 21-0 at halftime in Madden the game is over, No grabbing in Street Fighter 2 etc etc

If you play off-ball D I have no respect for your stick skills and I might as well play the computer.
