I see a lot of people complaining about the on ball defense the CPU plays. Stop playing on Superstar/HOF. All it does is increase the CPU's ratings and cheats. Don't believe me? Pause the game and switch to the CPU side and check their rating. All Star is neutral, and Rookie and Pro decreases their ratings.

So I went on OS and was talking about people turboing to the paint and playing LeBron at point guard and center and this is what this clown says to me:

) and become a star this is why i was telling dudes one thing i do appreciate about that nba live 16. is the explosiveness of the guy going off the dribble. now that game has all sorts of other issues. but they got that right. that giant stride dudes take in real life before they take off is realistic. its not in 2k, but its in live. if you get a big on your guard and you give that big that dribbling work. he's cooked, thats it. he's going left and you're going right. there is no CATCHUP fake animation. he can bump you on the way up(which may or may not be called). but thats realistic too. that catchup nonsense is super fact. but thats how 2k patches things.The big on small is where it really shows it's ugliness, it's hard as fukk to get around a big man with a perimeter player even with the speed advantage.
Also, this game does a absolutely horrible job of recreating an important part of basketball, which is explosion and the 1 bounce into pullup. Since damn near every contested shot is a miss you can't really do the explosive 1 dribble pullup cause the game requires that you have at least 5 feet of space.That's like half of Melo, Kobe and Rudy Gay's offense
You can see all the bullshyt 2k did to pump up the defense, passes to guys coming off screens are slow as fukk, nobody throws some lazy ass slow pass to a guy running off a screen yet in this game the ball will float to the shooter giving the defender time to get back in. There's no zip on passes, but if there were it would be easier to score and 2k has put cheap little ways of cutting down on that.
They patch cheese by adding cpu cheese or taking something realistic completely out of the game. like....PRO HOP.
i keep telling those dudes at OS. if you really want a sim game. you have to create the game thinking realism and not trying to address cheese. cheese will die with more realistic physics and movement. not just a bunch of 2 person canned animations. where guys are stuck in those animations.

With this game you have to run plays also try to run the opposite side of your screen. Open shots are going to miss due to the fact you start off cold. y'all can always make your own playbook Imma lab some shyt today. Kids are trash iso is hard but crossover to your left or right and do a spin if that don't work then idk

I finally figured it out as shytty as it looks its actually easy to substitute...whats good with the substitutions?
Tap the player you want to substitute.. That new list it gives you are the choices of players you want to substitute the player for

Had 9 blocks against this turbo cheeser.
He tried to spam the middle and I started forcing him baseline and brought my big man at half court to stop the inbounds pass. Dude couldn't score in the half court and game got ugly real quick.

Man this AI defense is still dumb ass ever. Jerekbo allowed an inbound passer to run the length of the court and score a layup. The guy just literally drifted out of bounds for no reason
