The higher difficulties make 10+ minute quarters feel like a real game:wow:

I haven't played 16 too much but just off the few games and adjusted sliders make this easily top 3 basketball sims of all time:whew:

:jbhmm:

So defense exists in this year's game?

:ohhh:

Is it as good as it was back when they had that lock down defense button in 2K8?

Does the game force you to run some plays or does ISO Cheese Ball still reign supreme?

On ball is much more aggressive. You can actually bump into players and it will actually slow their momentum unlike years past(you still get blow by animations if you try hard enough tho) Anyone trying to iso all game will not win, esp against the CPU defender. Its good and bad. Because its a lot challenging and makes you think about how to run an offensive, schemes, take advantage of mismatches, etc. But its annoying because nearly everyone is good. You will have trouble beating someone like Korver or Lou Williams off the dribble. And shyt like this happens

Am I the only person having a difficult time beating players off the dribble?

Seems like no matter who is guarding me I constantly bump and grind but can never get past the defender.

I am using the Spurs so dont tell me TP cant get past anyone:usure:

A little insight...

You have to read and react to your defender. You can't just run up with pre-determined moves thinking you're going to beat them. Sometimes defenders tend to play you tougher in one direction...left/right so read that. Also think 2 steps ahead in terms of what you're going to do and chain moves together. Exploding out of the dribble is a must and is simply done by pressing forward on the LS as you perform your next move. The half-spin is a gem this year as well chain it together and use it.

Thanks to all the brehs here for providing tips one thing I learned is LET GO TURBO your fast players will tend to get past slower defenders as long as you take the proper angles the defender is giving you.

It truly is more "read and react" than guaranteed crossovers
