Off the ball movement is beastly. Guys are constantly moving and cutting. Even in set plays, there's early action and cuts before the main part of the play is ran. It's beautiful.

I just picked this up for the midnight release. So far I love this game. Although, I kinda thought Shaq, Kenny, and Ernies pregame performances were stilted. Overall I'm feeling this sh*t!

One of the first things I noticed that they really improved this year. My first game was the T'Wolves vs Lakers. Threw it to Townes in the post with Wiggins who then proceeded to immediately cut to the basket and leave Kobe old ass in the dust for an easy 2
The defense is great too they really improved the ball tracking by the players, I've gotten alot of blocks I wouldn't have got in 2k15, even on late recoveries.
Game kinda feels like 2K13 with a good blocking system
I always hated that hold trigger post system, 2k hasn't used it since 2K11 I'm not sure why they brought it back just to have 3 pass buttons
We'll get used to it eventually I guess

I don't even know anymore...
I've been messing around, playing Heat @ Bucks (me of course), 8 Minutes, Superstar/Sim. Game feels lovely. Heat run their offense through Wade, and he's been killing Middleton. Bosh shoots when he should (and makes). They play the PNR aggressive like they did with Bron (not sure they did that much last year, but whatever), and you can take advantage of it. I ran a stagger PNR across the top with MCW, Dragic and Whiteside tried to jump out and trap me, I spun back the way I came and coasted for an easy dunk. It was so damn beautiful.
One thing that I'm gonna LOVE: Greg Monroe. Been a loooooooooonng time since I've been able to play with a guy that could score in the post (Bari might be that guy too, we shall see), and it's nice to dump it down to him, or get it to him on the elbow and let him do some work. I mentioned the off ball movement already. It really is great. I inbounded from the side (Giannis), calling what I assume was a play for Middleton. MCW has the ball, Monroe screens, and as I'm waiting for Middleton to come off a Bari screen, Giannis is CALLING for the ball cutting to the basket after inbounding. Easy dunk. I was like

Presentation is beautiful. The insert interviews. The studio team with Ernie/Shaq/Kenny. shyt looks Godly. The game feels a lot more natural with its physics. Doesn't feel like its a bunch of canned animations. Only complaint is the commentary. Clark Kellogg needs to go. And they just gave Anthony all Kerr's old recycled line.

Had some dude run to a 3-2 zone so I switched to the 3-2 zone freelance and carved his ass up.
Not feeling the whole Play Now setup, with picking your team before you jump into a match. Why can't I back out once I get matched up? And why can't I see the jersey my opponent picks until after the actual game starts?
