pretty sure they changed it in 2k12 where it was just shooting form 1-12 etc etc.... they took it out after 2k11 i think... now they brought it back.

I've had Melo's jumpshot on my MyPlayer every year since 2K11.

In 2K15 they changed it so that you only purchase a shot base. You couldn't mix and match between both shot releases AND bases, which I thought was kinda lame since it was pretty cool to make your own type of jumpshot essentially.

last time i played 2k i only had shooting forms... i could not pick player jumpshots but i really did not play 2k for awhile only for a few days... i am starting to get back into it this year

Yeah, after 2K12 you had to buy them with VC in the animations menu.
