Really don't want to jump the gun but I saw Lives teaser trailer. Was really hoping they'd make this generation competitive for all gamers but nah. 2K is about to put those boys to bed for good.

Unlike you online nerds I don't waste my time playing unrealistic games online against fags who just drive into the lane every play and play unrealistic basketball. I prefer real simulation. I only play against the CPU with adjusted sliders in franchise mode, build my team the right way thru the draft and free agency, and try to win the title. Fukk playing online.

The point of trailers is not to show you new gameplay but to show off the graphics. And these graphics are phenomenal and better than any other game EVER MADE. They look almost photorealistic. And graphics are important to immersiveness. Gimme these graphics and 2K13 gameplay and I'm good. I don't need any giant leap in gameplay. 2K has been good on that front. My only gripes with 2K has been the lack of better presentation and more depth in franchise mode. If 2K gives me a true post-game show like NBA Gametime giving me highlights of other games in my franchise mode I'm good.

The online is terrible. You get forced into 2K rosters which are trash, people who only pick the top 3-4 teams in the game, & terrible sliders where you can shoot 27/30 from 3. I'd rather play the cpu all day with good rosters & sliders then suffer through 2K online.

Online is what we always dreamed of, and while certain things are flawed, that doesn't mean don't play at all
There are players who don't abuse the gameplay's faults. @Broke Wave is a guy who practices in the virtual gym all day to perfect the bullshyt
But a bunch of us don't play that way, and a bunch of ppl you'll find randomly do too
Most ppl who use the top teams suck anyway, just play to have fun. If you lose or don't like a persons style of play?

You don't play online

I would play online if people didn't play so fake. I want to play SIM basketball not some fake shyt. And unfortunately most people online play too fake for me to enjoy my sim basketball experience.

I prefer playing against the CPU with sliders making it as difficult to beat the CPU as it would be to beat another real life NBA team.

I play video games to experience something as close to real life NBA as is possible and playing against the CPU is closer to real life rather than online against other people who play unrealistically. I'd rather play franchise mode against the CPU with good custom rosters and sliders. Only losers who feel that their self worth is somehow higher by beating someone else in a video game would feel the need to play online.

online is tailored alot more to sim ballers right now. The overdribbling and cheese like gameplay will result in getting ran off the court against a smart player. Ive pretty much gotten playing lockdown D with the Bulls down to a science. I really wish they would make playing offball D less successful, I really cant hate on 2k14s online experience...yet
