Drake definitely has dope records. People just don’t like him personally. His music career is undeniable though.
Last post about Drake since this is a Nas thread. I think his first three albums (and So Far Gone) are excellent, I fukks with them heavy and still regularly play them :yeshrug:

And bro @spliz those songs were fire, I'll revisit that album :ehh:

It’s like the Scary Hours section of the album it’s like 6 or 7 songs. His best collection of songs in years imo.

Quit hypothetical question.

If Kanye didn't have ass his part on Nasir....do you think we potentially would have gotten a six album run from Kanye and Nas instead of it being Nas and Hit?

I don’t think their chemistry was genuine like that. I think nas and hit actually vibed which made the whole magic fun.

No.

I don't think we ever would've gotten a run like that with any other producer. It was a perfect storm of sorts because of the pandemic. Nas locked in with Hit Boy and found himself inspired when he was still looking to be inspired to make music. I think him not knowing when inspiration would hit him like that again is how we got six albums especially sinve it wasn't intended.
