This track is one of my favorites. I was thinking about submitting the lyrics to rapgenius. Y'all think I should do it, let me know? Peace

1st verse

yo

The trains are New York Veins
the City a cycle
People are the blood stream
mean and ice cold
Laid back counter clockwise
the dice roll
Yank hats, gang flags, plan crash
Ground Zero, no lost angels
Aint you from my from my man's and them area?
It's good to meet you
ya man did 20 years for some FILA sneakers right
true
had the 560 benz
light blue
where ed shot himself in the stomach
smoke the dust
he let the culture culture bust
back when we took the D train uptown
shante and her whole crew, groovy hair style
Yo baby yo baby yo t- shirts
gold teeth smirks
at mark 125th
hope the heat work
few numbers i bagged
then caught a cab back
to Jamaica ave by the library
seen the part of shabazz

chorus
New New York New York York York (all to those who live in Queens know just what I"m talking)
New new new new new new New York (all to those who live in Brooklyn know just what I'm talking)
**scratches** new new new New York (all to those that live in Harlem know just what I'm talking)
new new New York New York (all to those form South Bronx know just what I'm talking)

2nd verse

Skate Key Empire USA
rooftop 2 o clock
skates off break north
to the rink
minks
springfield in the work
the 6 borough Jerz
Car jack city
the GW bridge
the Coop City
Popo's hot
glocks in your Benzy box
stash and we move fast
dropped off Miss Pretty, shakes her A$$ to the buiding, knowing i just killed it
dudes in front of her door
blocks her entrance asking her "who you been with?" she laughs "my ya business"
tinted windows
pop dutches with box cutters
drop brothers off
a crime stock with c locks brothers
hit town up in New York State
jakes
hate a black New York face
jumping out the phantom with the BAPS
PLANET OF THE APES
with the hammers on her waist
gorillas in the tristate of

chorus

3rd verse

It dont matter if i been out of town
cigar lounge
doing rounds of tequila soon as i touch down
in NYC streets
the heat is on
the Talk
who said what
I catch up on
The New Teflon Don
who got they death on
who still stable
where beef got squash at the round table
who still holding it
who hanging with snitches
couple of Zulu's
from back in the days who still up in clinton
no more hand shakes
fake arm swing
see if your flinching
need to hold something thats mention in every nikka sentence
when i get it
you got it
D's went up in the project
bail a couple of homies out
no doubt
Ferrari's in the summer
when its the hummer
or the turtle top band satellite
spilling drinks
hitting potholes with savage types
club 17 marque
the team flash
next day hit the spas and the steam bath
knock out this business
do some promo
make paper in the grind capital
sign a graph then hit the hood
see the folks reminisce on how it was

in the MOST POWERFUL CITY THAT I LOVE, NEW YORK

Nas - The World Is Yours (Remix) - YouTube

this shyt is classic too. Q-Tip laced this remix. I always wondered why this wasn't on the 10th anniversary illmatic.

Yeah, I like this more than the original. It just seems more street. Even though I was 5, it reminds a lot of the mid 90's. I like the horns, the drums, the la la la part, the song structure, how he says random stuff instead of a chorus in between verses, how he kept the same first and last two verses with minor changes and a complete different 2nd verse. I love everything about the track. I wish I could find the mp3 of the dirty version in good quality.

Now, this is my most wanted unreleased Track from Nas' Sony stash. The vaults need to open for this. I wonder what album this was intended for. Other than clearing the sample, I can't see why this didn't get released.

I always thought that was an unfinished track for a Nature collabo since he shout outs Wild Gremlinz which was the name of Natures crew and his second album.

Brooklyn son

Rushing to top
Not knowing what it takes to be
King of the industry
The wise move paitently
Y'all nikkas hating me
Won't be happy till I'm back with ya
Selling crack with ya
Half and half on a pack with ya
My pen and pad paint a black picture
Of young goons
Passing liquor
After hours stores
Massive nikkas

:ahh: :whew:

The whole song is :ahh:
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4qYox-Gb70]Nas - Deja Vu [Best Quality] - YouTube[/ame]

Blunts, thugs and alcohol, what a mixture
Just picture, ya life as a whole judged in court they convict ya
They telling you your state of mind, like you worthless
So he curses, his mom’s saying Bible verses
That's all she works with
But miracles never leave the churches
Instead, it hits the pockets of the Preacher just to purchase
A house, with a swimming pool
Labels me a sinning fool
I'm just a nikka who inherited a winning jewel

To be a trendsetter, whenever subject to respect
This and all respect through is the essential
To street life, hustlin’ the struggle-broke ghettos
Ballin’ coats settles, slowin’ inside a glass kettle
There's a Lee V on my T.V
Lifestyles of living easy
Got my crew tense, plottin’ to jips, to get whips, with V.V.'s
Pushing cakes, new and erect is what ten plates
Celebrating and elevation in the seeds that we make

Escobar life, gems and raw Tims
Gators for pretty boy haters
In Vegas with chicks trickin’ fortunes
I'm glistening, bells of cops whistling
Still I'm drifting in
In a high, blunts is like insulin
95-I, I drive high zoning
Stash box zoning my trunk, I flash not, teeth golden
Look at me now Ma
Blowin’ but for how far?
Cars, Cash, and bytches got me out more
And things you never dreamed I can vouch for
Snake nikkas, slither on the A-alikes
I ain't a Christian, but I find that we pray alike
Never the one to ask for the time to a saint
A mask and Nine, I think, will make my problems sink
Down a canal, similar to how we drink
Distinct diamonds flooded, thank shines on my links
Drug money, snortin’ bytches, in the end’a times
Got my nine, till I flatline, nikka give me mine

I left out the 1st verse cause ya'll already know its :boss:

I certainly hope that the High track was not a collabo with Nature. I hope there is a their verse somewhere and it sees official release. Even a CDQ leak will do. When DJ Rhude dropped his lost tapes mix tape and then released all the joints CDQ. I was hoping that High and When Thugs Die we're on it.

There is also this studio alternate version of Blaze a 50 that is arguably better than the Lost tapes version. I have to find a link. The joint is one of my favorites.

People be collecting these tracks for years. There is even an unreleased Nas thread in the Coli booth. I found the blaze a 50 alternate mix on Sohh version of the Nas unreleased music thread.
