For those who wanted Nas to perform We Major.

People forget how EPIC We Major was when it dropped.

Nas a year removed from sending shots at both Jay and Kanye on Streets Disciple appears on a ROC-A-FELLA album.

It was Jay’s favorite song on Late Registration too. When Kanye played it for him he started freestyling but it was too late to add him to the song.

Does he always perform like this? I couldn't tell if he wanted the audience to rap along or he legitimately forgot certain lines.

He forgot. He wasn’t even sure the DJ had the instrumental. He asked a 10 year old fan in the audience what their favorite song was and the kid said We Major so Nas did it especially for him.

I’ve seen Nas in concert seven times since 2007. He’s never done We Major. Its not part of his regular set. For guest features he usually does Verbal Intercourse, Its Mine, and i’ve seen him do his verse from Hot Boys once.

He could do at least 3 hours off B-sides :dead: a show at the Hammerstein is overdue always preferred smaller venues than arena shows:manny:

First time I ever saw him in 07 during the Hip Hop Is Dead tour he said “I’ma do some of my underground shyt” and he did a bunch of Lost Tapes verses. It was crazy

Just back from London show. As at the Royal Albert Hall Nas did Illmatic in a suit with an orchestra. Was amazing to see live. Although orchestra naturally doesn’t have same crowd reaction

AZ also showed up! Did Life’s a bytch and then later Mo Murder, Phone Tap and Sugar Hill.

Nas again did We Major.

Overall Nas was incredible performance wise. Best performance I’ve seen from him. Barely skipped any words.

He also said Premo album coming but in terms of when it’s dropping he basically said ‘you need to talk to Premo”. So seems might be true Premo trying to perfect things

I had a great night. Rolled up with my long time friend and she decided to drive. Found parking and walked the rest, we get there and I wanted merch and I copped a t-shirt.

She wanted to go the toilet before we sat down, so I went and sat our seats, she calls me and says “Come back outside now, I’ve seen my friend and he’s got a box”… mind you we had decent seats but this box was amazing. Sipping Moet and watching my GOAT.

:banderas:

AZ was there, his clarity is great.
As usual, it was a very diverse crowd.
Nas really put on a show, I really enjoyed myself.

The greatest hits set was pretty well timed did the street stuff and left I Can/Hate Me Now/You Owe Me/Oochie Wally at home. Did We Majord and Define My Name which I aint never seen home do live. Snuck some Hit Boy with Im on Fire and 40-16 building

Was in a box too. Stub hub screwed me over with my tickets but luckily got two seats in a box last minute for less than face value. Actually glad I was in a box. More leg room and I was pretty much straight on with stage so was great view

Crowd was pretty good. When Nas stopped you could hear it was loud with people rapping along but there was some random ass people, who by the look of them would never guess they’d be at a Nas show. I guess lot of people go to shows just for the vibe even if not big fans.

Some boxes looked live as hell though. Maybe it was @WavyHair ChippedTeeth with his Moet haha
