Went to the concert in Amsterdam yesterday. SLAYED it.
Highlights:
- For each Illmatic track Green Lantern would play the sample before he dropped the beat. When it came to IT AIN'T HARD TO TELL they played the entire Human Nature and had a pic of the GOATS MJ and Quincy.
- Sang the Eye for an Eye hook and did his verses. Also did the second verse of MADE YOU LOOK over the QUIET STORM beat. I'll tribute to Mobb.
- Was like a 10 year old in the crowd and Nas asked what his favorite song was, kid said WE MAJOR and Nas had Green Lantern pull up the beat. He joked that he forgot the last part of his verse but he killed most of it.
- Did part of DEFINE MY NAME and a snippet of a new joint, both GL and Nas said Premo album coming.
