It’s weird how it seemingly got swept under the rug. That really is a great, wonderful gritty hip hop album, KD2 is my favorite full body but Magic might be the best project, tight and concise and masterful

Man I’ve always said that song would have completely shot up the charts with Cardi on that record. Album as a whole probably would have sold closer to 55k- 60k first week instead of 48k.

He would’ve had to write her verse. Son ain’t trying to do extra work to have some talentless harlot on a song.

He dropped so many projects afterward and people were so hyped for KD3 that Magic really did get written off as a teaser album. Its also the first album that Nas dropped with little to no notice, just one IG post less than 24 hours beforehand.


Gotta give it to the Youtube channels like Rap Roundtable and According To Hip Hop for getting the word out that the album was even released.
