Making US crowds look weak

Hip Hop hit different in other countries
It really does man, they treat/carry rappers like real superstars over there, even the more underground type dudes who may not even get noticed anymore over here. A lot of these old school/underground dudes should just move abroad, lol, get that rock star treatment. Wu Tang would be treated like royalty, trust me, I’ve seen it

Wu does great in the states.

Nas shouldn’t have been around Diddy so much he knew he was a deviant.

You don't know what he knew or didn't know. He's known Puff most of his career. And things have always been A1 between them, besides the Stoute situation.

why is there such a discrepancy between the states and overseas especially with artists like Nas, Wu and other classic artists?

US is a Bigger country, more regions and more the new stuff/commercial stuff is pushed constant. The new shyt is always emphasized. Where is in Europe its smaller and more vinyl collectors and historians etc etc

I will say this though, last 7 years with Europe/UK having its own scene and the streaming kids listening to more what the kids in the US listen it feels like that preservation and respect for old school acts is shrinking a little.

Just in general all of them, Wireless Festival is one of the biggest music festivals out here and its basically like Rolling Loud every year. And of course their own artist like Central Cee are big. In General you'll run into young folks who either know shyt or dont whereas 10-15 years it felt like everyone knew a bit of the old school cause there was this scene to preserve history

They did well in the US too on that NY State of Mind tour back to back summers too. I think there is also a nostalgia market for older acts thats been figured out

The Wu just did a bunch of arenas in the states. They can get money wherever but the crowds overseas are way more enthusiastic in general.

Fire, they sold em out? When I was over in Berlin and really all thru Germany but particularly Berlin, it was a Christmas Market or whatever it’s called and I seen at least 7 “Wu-tang” shirts, lol, when we went to a Carnival joint it felt like a Wu concert.

I don’t even think a lot of them white people even listen to/know them like that…Wu -Tang is just synonymous with “Real Hiphop” over there…as they should be.
