To me life is good, God's son, Kd2 magic 3 are on the same level so it's just about preferences. Some rank I am high too.

I don't count the lost tapes cause the process of making an album is different than put a compilation together no matter how good it is. But if I were to insert it, it would be 3rd

My top 5 as right now is

5th could go to 7 different albums Magic, LIG, KD3, GS, M3, KD2, Distant Relatives.
It's all personal prefence no real wrong answers. I just lean towards Magic I think that joint is classic especially in this era. His catalog at this point is ridiculous impossible to rank. So many albums are interchangeable

Dini is right about I Am. I've always said it might be top 3 Nas most accessible albums. I knew Colombian bytches from the Northside with that album poster on their wall. I Am is one of those albums where a lot of people became fans

I think they’re still regarded highly. More so speaks to how deep his catalogue is that some of those records aren’t in people’s top 5.

Lost Tapes is a compilation, not an album so I don’t rank it even though i obviously love it. But just like Greatest Hits albums shouldn’t be ranked, Lost Tapes shouldn’t be ranked in my opinion.


Untitled is also a personal favorite of mine with INCREDIBLE highs but KD3 objectively is a better album

My top 5 is the same except I do include lost tapes instead of KD3. I went back and forth on whether to include it
