I feel like Nas releasing these Magic albums screwed up his chances at the Grammy a little bit. Because people keep mistakingly thinking Killer Mike’s album was against those albums.

They should have had the three KD albums in a row and the 3 Magic albums. I know they got it chronologically but visually the different series have completely different looks

Let's be honest here . We all know that the kd Grammy was a lifetime achievement award more than anything. Kinda like when Di caprio got an Oscar for the revenant. Nas should have taken the Grammy for life is good.
It wasn’t a lifetime achievement award it was the Grammys following their tried and true method of the biggest selling album winning the category, which so happened to favor Nas the first time. Killer Mike breaking that trend this year is actually a game changer and history maker even though Nas got thoroughly robbed.
