Best Review.........:wow:

Never has he made six albums this strong, this consistent. The highlights of the peaks of the first run are what people will mention. This degree of difficulty is so much higher. He has done this from ages 47-50. Let that sink in as this ship sails.

17 solo projects, The Firm, QB’s Finest, Distant Relatives. That is 20 projects. 20 projects in 30 years… I can divide… that’s Stevie and Prince type of output. And almost Stevie and Prince-level quality on some rap shyt.

If this is indeed his grand exit, he is leaving it the way he came in, with an instant classic album with one feature. An ending fit for a king.

:whew::ahh::salute:

Apology video coming within next 2 weeks.

Yep, it's actually cringe how all nas' old people all want to be close to him and act like scorned girlfriends when he don't acknowledge them. People who are older than him too

:dame:

When you look at cormega and what he said on instagram you can sense that they are glad to be part of Nas circle now and live extraordinary moments with him

and I didn't saw large pro at the party, so why serch complain, he's a grown man, he's gotta have some goddamn pride

It Ain't Hard to Tell single lists a Pete Rock remix...obviously this would've been widely known, but I've never once heard it...

What's the story w/ this?

I think he’s drunk. He’s got a post on IG praising the album.

This is such a bad look for Serch who already kinda gets on his pop and apologize shyt.

Older White Hip Hop fans and industry gatekeepers are like the fukking WOAT, have some fukking self-awarness how your words sound acting like you're the reason a black artist thrived :hhh:

It really seems like a lot of critics see this on the same level as Magic 2 and thats kind of dissapointing.
The actual content of the reviews for both albums read a little bit more complimentary than the scores

The fatigue with Hit Boy thing will always be weird to me as well because hes at least diverse where hes not giving the same signature sound I would hae thought. And these last two albums sound less glossy than the KD series which was the one thing a few people who did have gripes with Hit had said before.

Seems like the overall consensus from critics is that they like the KD series more. If you look at that very site, each KD album is rated higher than each Magic album. They gave KD2 a 4.5/5.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.,

Yeah although it seems like Magic 1 is the consensus most Nas project they (meaning the fans) wanted (Although KD 3 is the most acclaimed and definetly their most polished)

I can understand a little bit Magic 2 feeling underwhelming compared to KD 3 (Still good) but I would have thought Magic 3 being better would have put it up a little score wise.

It does seem like they're getting penalized for just putting out a lot of music at a quick rate. Which is why Im also okay with Nas chilling for a year. Yeah we're in a time where people drop a lot of albums anyway but one thing I've noticed that even guys who put out good projects at a quality rate sometimes are in danger of getting tuned out (Conway, Currensy).

Like Its a dumb complaint dont get me wrong but I would like him to let these projects to breath. Whatever he was working on that was teased to come out I would reccomend holding it over till 2024

I feel the opposite.. These folks will never give him the credit he deserves. I hope he pisses them off and drops another album right before Christmas. I'm telling y'all right now. Cherish this because Nas has something up his sleeve with what he's going to do with his catalog. This output isn't just I caught the creative bug. There's a power move that's being made behind the scenes with his music.
