It’s one thing to get love from fans, another to get love from contemporaries and another to get this kind of love from your predecessors.

In the podcast Nas was doing last year, Cube told him, you took what we were writing and you put it in cursive.

Chuck D isn't a contemporary, he's Nas OG. That means more

Was cruising thru youtube and bumped onto this dude's video with Boldy James. Thought it was real dope and digged the Nas flow

Decided to check some more, and next video is almost a How ya Livin nod, with even more Nas sounding flow & lyrics

Now it's getting kinda scary but still kinda dope at the same time

And now I'm thinking dude might be a fukking Nas stalker LMAOOO

And sorry for being off topic here but I don't really fukk with the other threads.. Bumped onto some sick shyt and figured I'd share it with Nas thread fam.

2023 been ass but between Mick Jenkins (AOTY) & Soul Assassins 3 it's actually feeling quite BETTER this past week. Both these albums pretty dense, though SA3 kinda uneven but still has great moments.

And just when I thought I was good for the week, someone shared this album on twitter, I clicked out of curiosity, it started directly on track 2 and I almost fell off my chair. By the time track 4 came in I was sold. And at the end of my first listen I copped the vinyl, he only has 80 of them.

Dude has barely 1k views average on YouTube and I refuse to believe he cant take it to the next level. Sound is very eclectic, can be pure Hip-hop but also jazzy, very Roy Ayers like, has lots of funk/soul/disco elements too. Anyway, just hope dude keeps on getting his name out there and gets to work with more big names like on this album. I'll let y'all check for yaselves but I'm definitely happy I discovered his music before he goes mainstream, if ever.

This is some of the most shameless biting I have ever seen :dahell:

Not gonna lie, it's kind of nice to hear someone take on Nas' 90s style, but what the fukk. It's like he only knows how to stitch different Nas lines together.

Broooo 😭😭, I swear if there wasn't the videos my first thought would've been it's an AI and the prompt was "rap like 96 Nas Ecobar" sometimes I can hear very vividly some Nas lyrics and exactly how he kicked them on his own tracks
