Video is not what you think. He has an irritating intro pushing the weak beats narrative, but then afterwards he breaks down some Hitboy production techniques and tries to recreate Hitboy's sound in one of his own beats. At one point he compares Ghetto Reporter to French House music and it's pretty interesting.

SINY!!
This one popped up on a playlist today. Underrated. Need Nas to go on one of them guest spot sprees again :whoo:

Nas and Rick Ross haven't missed on any of their collaborations. Powers That Be might be my favorite Ross/Nas track....the beat slapped...Nas flow....godly.

You know how it is, new levels, new devils
The cheddar breed jealousy at hella speed but it's whatever
Mercedes driver, 85'er, enlightener, collapsable sun visor
The half moon identifies, the son of God, son of man
Son of Sam, young with the blam
Stick or get stuck, get killed to get buck, a blessin' of luck
I love all, test me, trust not
Above all but young nikkas address me as such
Like Hannibal Barca, runnin' through Carthage
Panama watches, conquer the nonsense, conquerin' lion
Amun-Ra sun god combined in one, most prolific
You off point like the coke addicted lawyer, Klienfeldt's gun
Tell the waiter bring over that Moscow Mule
Tell them haters get over it, Nas still rules
To money makers and nikkas who murk you out
And beat the death penalty on reversal trial, nikkas versatile

As dope as it would be, there's surely no way he remembers the original track listing or has any records of it right?

Yea but all those records that were supposed to be originally on I AM double CD either came out since then or were on the Lost Tapes album. I don't want a re-released album to hear the same songs again. You can find all of them on Youtube.

Songs that didn't make the original cut bc they were bootlegged like Fetus, Blaze a 50, Poppa Was a Playa, Sometimes I Wonder, Amongst Kings, Life is Like A Dice Game, etc. are all readily available.

Life is a like a dice game was not an I Am Era track

I want to hear the OG I Am the way it was intended to be heard bc we know that sequencing is impt...and the chronological timeline of the topics is what made it intriguing in the first place

I also want to hear all the songs mastered

OG I Am would've been a classic & quite possibly the best double album ever released...I want to hear it
