Schooling people takes forever; don't bother
i fell asleep after hearing the album one time at midnight and this new stan decided to annotate rap genius with a bunch of generic annotations... 1011J he literally restates the line or copies wikipedia off random proper nouns but vaguely uses any brain cells to make a poignant connection outside of stating the obvious or makes the wrong connections...scroll thru his shyt, it's terrible outside of a few where the editors behind him gave him help and he ended up with 3% of the credit and the rest of the editors had to chip in and correct his submission to something more lucid and thought out

the rap genius system is flawed...once you submit an annotation as "First", nobody can overwrite your previous annotation unless an editor steps in and delete a previous pretentious goofy ass annotation for the real one submitted as an addendum underneath, and most fans don't open up the suggested proposals to realize they are fed some BS or propaganda from the contributor of the first annotation, so the information you get there is mediocre/dikkriding/terrible....you can downvote or shyt talk them all in the comments of the first annotation but unless a knowledgeable editor steps in, you are SOL -- not all rap genius editors know about Nas or wants to take on that responsibility of overruling certain edits over others because they want to keep their editor status and not make waves even though they are privileged to be judge, jury, and executioner when it comes to deleting and overhauling annotations, but then the spotlight's heat gets turned on them -- editors are kept on this tight schedule to deliver major annotation overhauls every month so you can't just pop in and pop out when you feel like delivering high level results and it becomes a rat race of hamster wheel servitude for free while the platform profits off free labor off the expense of dedicated fans....this is how stan wars happen in the revisionist history annotations of rap genius, like back when Jay stans used to dominate that platform and change the narratives about Nas and female stans of beyonce, nicki, etc still use that platform to cancel and write heinous things about their opposing artists that they see as a threat....anyone with enough credit can edit but not all are privy to all the whereabouts to deliver quality information over a sustained period of time...there should be a new rap genius status of knowledge librarian who steps in occasionally when the editors don't know enough and consult them and have them pop in freely without this rat race commitment so more quality knowledge gets dropped instead of a cheeky ass picture and a bad subtitle for a meme-like annotation that is garbage calories to the consumer instead of rich content

the rap genius has been broken for all these years and it will stay broken unless you stay awake overnight and write in all the correct annotations the first time around before some other stan spoils it with nonsense....next time nas drops something, open up rap genius and annotate something but you need to earn credibility before you can make annotations....and if you are a casual fan 'husting' points and dropping meme annotations and not real knowledge, log off and get out the way

Nas - Office Hours (feat. 50 Cent) [50's Adlibs pushed to the ending; Fixed by Alamo]

there are complaints that 50's verse sounds more like a voice mail because he stops rapping and his outro takes too much of his verse slot before the chorus comes back in...hitboy's team kinda dropped the ball and didn't realize to split the submitted 50 vocals in half, one for the rapping segment, and another for the outro

so, have the Nas chorus arrive immediately after 50 ends his verse, borrowing the pristine vocals from the first chorus without the overlay, and then move the 50 adlibs to the back intertwined with the Nas adlibs so that it sounds like Nas and 50 are having a conversation after the chorus even though they are talking about completely different things...Nas in his outro kinda bridged it by jokingly saying that he was going to drop his next album on g-unit but then talk excessively about Fredos, which can be cut shorter...50 cent had a better outro talking about being too rich, shouting out queens and jungle, and being out there and that should be how the song ends
