I can see where Shan is coming from. You got Kurtis Blow, Melle Mel etc etc performing. Can see how Shan may feel a way about a Mass Appeal not asking Shan to perform given he a QB legend and Mass Appeal Nas' company.
Having said that, Nas isn't going to be the one drawing up the set list and asking artists. And if Shan thinks he should be on it because of affiliation to Nas and his impact on hip hop, then AZ, NORE, Mobb Deep, G rap and other Nas affiliated artists may ask where's my slot. Obviously Shan is in that OG category that perhaps warrants a place in set but where do you draw the line

Well, Shan can feel that way. He is hurt generally about him not getting anything in return from the culture. All his IG rants are about it and the fans of hip hop being stupid... One minute he'll say I get my own money by his bus business, next its nobody giving me a check. Nas not the type to take this personal. If wind gets back to him about Shan feelings, he'll do something.

I knew Shan was crazy when he brought his own Sutter mini wine bottles that you get from the liquor store to his Drink Champs interview. He had acccess to the top of the top shelf alcohol, but he sipped these the whole time.

True. It's possible that Nas did not create the list. Not sure if this has happened, but some people forget or don't reflect well on how they have treated others in the past. Maybe there was a diss or jab somewhere on San's end that cause the riff. I don't know, and I don't care. Shan needs to let it go. Like Willie D. I get it but fukk it. It is what it is. Perhaps they just have to vent and then let it go. I'll give the 2 legends (Shan, Willie D) that but otherwise, keep it moving.

Shan was an OG and Nas always mentions him in his music but Shan wasn't a big seller back in the day.
He had 3 average albums that werent big sellers but the last one came out in 1990. His biggest claim to fame was "The Bridge" song.
Anyone know why he didn't come out with any music after that?
