August 11th is the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop.
On "30" Nas said "Premier album still might happen".
Don't you think that it would be the perfect date to drop it if they managed to record it ? The long awaited full collaboration between one of the greatest mc of all-time and one of the best producer of all-time being used to celebrate hip-hop.
I'm not saying I would take this over another Hit-Boy album, just that if the Primo project ever happens it seems like the perfect moment for it with everything that it implies.

It would I'm done holding out hope for this honestly. They recorded more than just Beat Breaks (which I liked btw) if it happens it happens. It'll probably never meet expectations. I'm just here for new music

Premo just did an interview and said he's down for the album but it's up to Nas. Perhaps he was being coy and it's already in development, who knows. But I kinda just assume whatever comes this year will be with Hit Boy, either in-full like the previous ones or some type of collection of producers.
