that's the streaming #'s era is bogus why I don't make a big deal of it. Albums like Nasir has more streams than LT1 all the KD's Magic LIG, any sane person not Ye stan gonna argue that album is better than those?
I personally hate Nas having features. I only want to hear Nas yo. AZ is cool because he was there from the start, but I can't think of any rappers I want to hear on a Nas track. It's probably because his earlier stuff spoke to me in such a different way than other rappers. shyt was relevant AF to what my childhood experiences and early adulthood were. Now, I just like to enjoy Nas's music is my own way.
I’m cool with whatever Nas does at this point in his career. Me personally, I enjoy him new modern type of rap songs, as well as modern day boom bap. I also like seeing Nas do features with younger modern artist that maybe didn’t tap into Nas as much before but as soon as they hear him they notice his greatness. I’ve seen him collab with Az of the world, so I’m all about what can he do that is new. But we all have different perspectives which is dope.
