I always liked World's an Addiction:manny: Reach out I understood the sample been overused but Nas was spitting all over that shyt:whew:. The flaws for me @Esco said this long time ago Ross verse on Accident Murders literally had nothing to do with the song:heh:. Summer on Smash didn't belong on the album at all(still not the worst Nas Swizz collab):scust:. In general it's hard to find many flaws about LIG the longer it goes the better it gets especially the deluxe Trust is:wow:

Always forget about Trust because I never had the iTunes version

Always thought We Make The World Go Round, which ain't fit on Untitled at all, would have fit nice on LIG in place of Summer On Smash

SD has become highly underrated

No I think it's judge pretty fairly, it's an ok project no more no less. To me Nas never really dropped a bad album, inclusing nasir, it's just that by comparaison with his best work, hhid untitled, nastradamus, sd and nasir pales. And I think both Nas and Jay were in a weird place musically between 2004 and 2010 because the south took over, ny struggled with their sound outside of g unit and dipset, and both were gettin older and didn't know how to translate it in their music.
Jay z started to pose himself as a bourgeois entrepreneur, and nas as the guardian of hip hop temple, but they didn't quite figured it out, that's why their albums from that period got mixed reviews

I wonder how bad Nas & team got hit with this Silicon Valley Bank situation. Most of those Silicon Valley start ups use SVB. shyt sucks if you’re caught up in the situation

I agree. Streets disciple isn’t bad, but when you compare it to other albums in his catalogue, it’s one of the weaker ones. But it has highlights on there. I think if 1 album was produced by 1 producer and another by another producer it would have come out better.

Streets Disciple
Hip Hop Is Dead
Untitled

Were ALL critically acclaimed. The Nas era from 04-2012 was VERY strong for him from a critical perspective.

Unpopular opinion but KD2>>>>> KD1 and Magic.

KD2 should’ve won Nas his second straight Grammy. That album is flawless lyrically and musically. Its Hit Boy’s magnum opus as a producer

"Death Row East" really is one of the best songs out of the entire series. KD2 as a whole is still crazy:

Death Row East
Store Run
Rare
Nobody
Count Me In
Composure (underrated)

^^^ these are just the standouts.

So no mention of...
