Overall the show was great. I wish Nas would have performed some of the lesser known tracks but can’t get what you want. Show started a lil late and green lantern was aight for th pre show mixes.

Nas was great opening the show, the KD set list was perfect but the Gen X majority crowd clearly only knew his old shyt and that’s what they came for. Mary J recieved a louder ovation than Nas did all night.

The second half was all the old stuff without much of the I am, Nastradamus, Gods Sonm Streets Disciple or the N which NYC needed in my opinion.

Thought he and hitboy would have done Quincy and Michael but composure would have been dope to see. It was also painful to see Nas move around the stage like a toddler in them heavy ass timbs. Slick Rick looked old as well, alcohol aged the ruler a lot.

He def can do a b sides performance…

And Mary got a pop cause that was a genuine surprise… Nas sampled a classic NY b-side from the goat NY female artist and she came out to bless us with the original? shyt is fire. Plus, there were plenty of women there who weren’t Nas fans Peres, that were there with their partners (like my wife). shyt, if we being honest… oochie walley and owe me got some of the best reactions all night.
