That was like 5 years ago for a track they were supposed to do 4 years prior

Dont know if this was the verse or a new one

While vibing in a session or recording something new for Swizz joint, could they be finishing up some Lost Tapes for LT3?

You know I have no idea if we'll even see another Lost Tapes the way some were telling it. The reaction to LT 2 was quite different than the first one. And realsticially any future Lost Tapes is gonna be more like 2 which is a compilation of unreleased/unfinished cuts than 1 which was basically what was bootlegged from I am plus the Stillmatic sessions.
He said in the NORE interivew years back, it might be a mix of unreleased collabos (Like the Mac Miller/Boldy James joint or the Tyler/Franlk Ocean) so who knows. But people's reaction to LT 2 might give the team cause to think about it

I think we'll see it. Maybe no time soon but one day. I remember reading that Nas wanted to put LT2 out before one of his def jam albums to throw something out there before the album came. That makes me believe that he might consider putting something else out there before an album again. It's the reason why he was so pissed with def jam. They didn't want to open up the pocketbook and put it out when in his mind, that helps promo the next album.

I'd imagine if given a choice, the vast majority of Nas stans would rather hear Sony/Columbia era tracks than Def Jam. Given that Nas said it's unlikely we'll hear those tracks (during his Khaled interview a couple years ago) I'm not holding my breath.

I hope they just kicking it and Nas is just letting his close friend hear his new album before it drops...cause Nas over Swizz production ain't my twist at all. "Echo" had me mind blown cause it's so fire...then I found out Swizz ain't do that, he just talked his shyt on it, lol

I think they probably recorded something for Swizz's EP as part of the Hip Hop 50 project that gave us that Primo EP

Don't they already have an unreleased album of songs?

Swizz Beatz Says He Fully-Produced An Unreleased Nas Album.

This was 4 years ago.

Speaking to Pitchfork, Beatz discussed his soon-to-be-released second solo album Poison, which features Nas on one of the tracks. The producer revealed that the track was originally on an unreleased Nas album the two made together.

“I did his album two years ago in one week in L.A.,” he said. “In the studio every day at 12 o’clock, just bang bang bang. Recorded the whole thing, got it all on film. It was an ill process.” Beatz also described the Nas tracks as “super crazy, maniac shyt.”

Mega confirms the Nas track is produced by Alchemist. The snippet def sounded like Alch, good to get confirmation.

Whole interview is dope but he talks about it around the 10min mark.

I wonder who's the rapper that he said fronted on him about getting on that Alchemist beat with him first
