Life Is Good didn’t really leak either./

nah, if you were an uploader back then, Nas' team just actively blocks leaks on youtube by submitting them early, sometimes without any metadata or title, but just the song snippets themselves

Nasty, the single was available almost a year before LIG dropped and by then, there were a lot of snippets of LIG songs on mixtapes but people didn't hear them because it was blocked on youtube but was available on datpiff and other blogs when they were popular...Nas' team still pays youtube to actively block LIG snippets til this day. The reason that only the Mass Appeal channel can upload the Life is like a Dice Game remake is because they are also actively blocking that on youtube, even way after it was no longer a spotify exclusive. Youtube takes a subscription fee to block certain songs off their platform and Nas' team need to stop paying youtube for blocking old songs already...someone needs to do a better accounting job by redacting their old blocks off youtube already when LIG snippets are from a decade ago, still blocked off youtube

whenever there is a leak, the internet can't handle itself and write 'sour grapes' comments like this or try to monetize shyt with clickbait.....that's why DJs like Mike Nice or Rhude who have unreleased Nas tracks are reserved about releasing Nas mixtapes because the few who do speak up ruin it for the many so they never come out

The point is technically they SHOULDN’T come out. If Nas didn’t want it released and doesn’t stand to gain monetarily from their availability then I don’t see any problem with Nas protecting what is essentially HIS intellectual property.


Nas is one who suffered leaks of both Illmatic and most devastatingly I Am which fukked up his Double Album plans.

If DJ Rhude or any other leaks unreleased songs then so be it. But if Nas stops them or anyone from doing so he is well within his rights

Bro this some entitled shyt to think a nikka don’t got the right to block unreleased shyt from dropping where HE HIMSELF can’t even profit off it. If u a true fan of Nas u would want to see him win. This type of shyt don’t help him win. That leaked Pac diss caused a bunch of unnecessary turmoil surrounding his name. I know u don’t think it’s a big deal but that shyt was some he chose not to release for a reason. Trust me I understand and I’m def gonna listen to any leak that drops. But I also understand why he would block it as well. Nas has artistically and financially suffered from leaks in the past.

I just recently started to subscribe to Apple Music and after listening to Kings Disease 2 (which is great) I put on Life is Good and just left the full album to play.

Anyway soon as ‘Where’s the Love’ finished a song called ‘Trust’ came on which I’ve never heard before. What’s the story behind this track? Is it new?

Does anyone have a Flac version of the track?
