It doesn't mean it has to sound the same. Hit Boy is able to create multiple sounds. If they did another project it could be completly different from kings disease.

Hell no lol. I like some Daringer but I feel like people aren't telling the truth about Griselda's sound. Just because you have grimy samples doesn't mean it's 100% 90s shyt. Listen to Daringer's drums...

That's how most Daringer/Griselda drums sound. Notice how slow they are. Compare it to one of Premo's slower beats, drum wise.

Listen how the kick drum kinda speeds up the feel of the drums to the point this shyt knocks. Griselda shyt does NOT knock at all and the drums are way too slow for Nas, who raps to drums 9 out of 10 times. Give him laid back slow drums and you're gonna get slowed Nas flows, which is hit and miss IMO.

No disrespect to Daringer, he has beats I like. Including some with slow drums. But go back to 1997 and play those beats to a noteworthy rapper and you'd get laughed out the studio OR told to switch up the drums.

We'll have to wait and see but everything seems to point to the next album being another collab with Hit-Boy.
Hopefully we get it before the end of the summer.

I appreciate what Daringer brought to the game, but I'm not really interested in him entirely producing anyone's album.

If he gave Nas the same beats he gives Benny that's a classic album. Nas would sound dope on all the shyt he gave Benny on TT3. West and Conway are the ones that really take the slow shyt, Benny's Daringer songs have drums 90% of the time and are at a tempo that Nas would sound good on.

But it don't matter anyway since it's gonna be Hit-Boy doing the project.

Man I can't make it through full griselda projects because of that style of production. It's cool for some songs, but not full projects for me. That's exactly hoe I felt about that Alfredo album. Oddly enough the griselda project that i got through fully was the one hit boy produced.
