Beautiful Life is the BEST Nas song released since 2018. Yes i’m including all of Nasir, Lost Tapes 2, and Kings Disease in that list. Beautiful Life is absolutely perfect
I’m happy Nas found his zone in today’s rap game with King’s Disease and the Hit Boi production and I expect him to stay in that zone or close for the next album. With that being said, the Lost Tapes 3 will probably contain some of those 2012-2018 songs but to be honest, we ain’t going to ever see a lot of them. Just like his stuff that is still in Columbia’s vaults. I have come to the realization in my mind that we ain’t going to see those either.
I doubt that Lost Tapes 3 will contain ANY of the 2012-2018 songs as he’d need to partner with Def Jam for them and I highly doubt he wants to do that again. Mark my words Lost Tapes 3 will be comprised of outtakes from Kings Disease and whatever project comes after.
Although Nas DID say that LT3 would have features so i’d LOVE to hear Sinatra In The Sands and The Scientist

Beautiful life was a album closer and was redundant with bye baby. It was either one or the other and I think bye baby was a more positive ending that's why they went for it and I'm glad they did. Aaron hall did his thing and the video was top notch.
But yeah I loved beautiful life. Perfect ending to the lost tapes
I know. I’m saying I doubt he does that as he wouldn’t own the Masters. Anything released just straight under Mass Appeal he’d own The Masters.

I think Beautiful Life edges out Echo. Echo is amazing but Nas sticks to a concept on Beautiful life and makes a difference with me. As for Bye Baby and Beautiful Life, I see the Life is good album as an album and a half because of the bonus tracks. In other words (based on the track listing) Nas ended the album with bye baby but then added the bonus tracks. I would’ve been perfectly fine if he would’ve put Beautiful Life at the end of the bonus tracks and wrapped the entire project up like that. Makes perfect sense to me. It was too good a song to not make the cut.
Yes, he said LT3 would have features so to me, that hints that Sinatra in the Sands will be included. If that’s the case, we are probably looking for a Mass Appeal/Def Jam joint effort. Wasn’t there another Swiss beat track with Nas and Jay?
as for King disease, if I’m Nas, I might keep any leftovers from those sessions and go back to the lab with them to possibly use for the next new album and try to recapture the Hit Boi magic. We know he was in the studio recording verses with Dre and even took pics with Lupe so I imagine that any work they were doing was at least considered for Kings disease and since it didn’t make the cut, may know be considered for LT3.

It's not in the article but in this screenshot, a hacker claims to have lots of unreleased music including 30 songs from Nas. The article was included to show how these young hackers are getting it.
