What do yall think nas new album going to sound like? You think he will be working with different/new producers? Having more features on his album etc?? I'm excited for it. I've seen him in pictures with alot of artist in the studio. It will be interesting to hear the direction.

Call me stuck in the last or even nostalgic but I like the sound he had for LIG and thought that formula worked well with him and No ID. also, even though some of it is old, 85% of TLT2 sounds good.

I agree actually. I've seen him in the studio with hit boys, I know he had records with swizz and timbaland. I also seen him in the studio with scott storch. As far as collabs, I've see him in the studio with big Krit, big Sean, burna boy, Raphael sadiq, lupe. I know he has a song with swizz and the dream, with a sade sample which sounded like a summer banger. It will be interesting.

I dont even know if hes making a new album or not but I get the impression from a few clues here and there he might be woring with Hit Boy cause I seen them hang out and Hit boy responds on Nas IG a lot.
Thats hit and miss but Hit Boy can make NY type shyt (1Train and snippets of his shyt with Benny) but I know with the stuff hes done with Nas people are hit and miss (Royalty which is basically No such thing as white jesus beat and black girl lost 2)

I think above all else he needs to get No ID back on the phone to guide an album and Id like to see him reconnect with Salaam, some Pete Rock and I'd love to see him work with Madlib and Harry Fraud

No ID should be guiding every rapper's album above 40. He did amazing things with Nas, Hov and Common this past decade

I don't want to hear him rapping with Big Sean or Yo Gotti or whoever else he's rumored to be in the studio with. I don't want to hear him on current sounding trap beats or overly-produced beats. I don't wanna hear a bunch of throwaway songs that he vaulted 10 years ago, songs that were vaulted for a reason. He shines brightest on that authentic NY street hip hop sounding shyt...or really stripped down, bare bones production...I want a whole album of that. And I want him to actually take a few months to focus on the writing, he has said recently that he is rarely in the studio or writing rhymes, that's not good because it's evident once we hear the finished product.

Personally give me a good mixture of the bare bones and modern sound. He can do both. He hasnt dropped a full length album since 2012. I'm sure he has had plenty of time to write.

Yea hit boy definitely has better beats to offer nas than that royalty and black girls lost 2, because he has produced some modern bangers. Hopefully they are in that bag. A good mixture of modern and NO etc.. sound would be great for the new album.

With TLT2, we heard some of his best unreleased material but they were all from top tier producers. It seems like it was a plan to put the top producers all together but I wonder what is in the stash with some of the 2nd tier producers? He has work with Salaam too. I think Justice League as well.

He said the goal of this one was to showcase more big names as producers. He said the next one has some crazy features.

Association w/Stickman
Sinatra in the Sand w/Jay z
NY Stomp (The Scientist) w/Jay z
Swizz Beat track w/Jadakiss, Jay z

That’s too much jay z if you ask me

Anything else?

Only "Sinatra In The Sands" was recorded with Jay Z though. Those other Jay Z features were tacked on after the fact. "The Scientist" was an unfinished Nas song where a Jay verse was later added. The Swizz track was from LIG and a solo Nas song with Jada and Jay added.

As for Def Jam era features, I think most of those songs will be songs we never heard mention of. The only other unreleased features are:

White Man's Paper feat Damian Marley

It could be interesting, be Nas's manager was trying to secure a Michael Jackson feature for HHID.
