2 of my goats in the same pic
Think there's only this other pic of these brehs together:
Nas is a huge Cube stan, he's always shouting him out on IG and has said DC is the most powerful album he's ever heard (not just in Hip-Hop). Don't think I've ever heard Cube say Nas name (not saying there's anything there, but I stalk the fukk outta these dudes ).
Not gonna lie I thought maybe there was some tension there again cause Kelis said that shyt in her little tell all about Nas being mad at her talking to him and that surfacing and then the surprise drop on the same weekend as Nasir plus the Beyonce tweet and Nas going WHO?! at Complexcon that maybe there was something there, but I guess I was connecting dots not there
Cool, to see they still cool with each other, seeing them blossom and be friends last decade and a half has been cool
On the Coli, Jay Z and Nas fans like the WW2 Japanese soldiers fighting years after the war ended.
whew this just dropped today and this Bink Version of Echo is fire!!!

This was in reference to the Untitled album. Cube was lobbying for him to reach out for a feature on that project but I cant find a link at the moment. This was around the same time Scarface mentioned wanting to record an album with them two.Cube went on to talk about rappers overall and their music saying "We do this music for it to be heard. Not for it to be sitting around somewhere and be this niche thing. I love Nas, because he's kind of like the East Coast version to what I do. He don't just do 'hood records. He tries to put some knowledge in it. His record is gonna be bangin'! I don't care what he calls it. It's still gonna be bangin'."
Now watch as Nas proceeds to do the exact opposite.Give me an album with Alchemist, 9th, Bink, Jake One, and Cardo with Terrace Martin sprinkling magic everywhere.
