I’m patiently waiting like I have been since ‘12. Album is gonna be fire, most anticipated release since the last Scarface album (and ATCQ).

This whole Nas album thing is confusing. I could be wrong, but I think:

- Kanye West produced 7 songs on Nas's new album and possibly executive produced it. He said he was hand producing all the albums he tweeted about. I took that to mean he manually made beats for each of those albums vs. him delegating to a team of producers like he's done for nearly a decade now. He's actually chopping samples and making beats again and not just touching up beats somebody else made. I remember Kanye saying he'd retired from making beats and this seems like his return to being a hands on producer again.

- Nas has confirmed work with different producers since he announced a new album back in 2013. He may have scrapped the songs, but with Nas you never know. He held on to "Cherry Wine" from 2008 to 2012.

I don't see Nas putting out just an EP, he's too big of an artist for that. Plus wouldn't it have to be a full length album to fulfill his contract with Def Jam? So hopefully it's half Kanye, half other producers (Primo, Large Pro, No ID, etc).

Kanye only tweeted his own album was 7 songs. It was TMZ that said all of the albums were 7 songs. He never really said he was 100% producing all of the albums either just that he was hand producing all of the albums that he was tweeting about.

I couldn't have sworn Kanye tweeted each album will be 7 songs long but I don't see the tweet now. Coincidentally, Desiigner just put out his debut album on GOOD Music and it's 7 songs long...

Here's an article with him announcing his own album, and the album with Cudi, and stating that his album is 7 songs:

Ironically, that Desiigner album wasn't in the series of tweets from Kanye and it doesn't look like Kanye was involved much in the production.
