New York rap legend
Nas has announced a free New York show happening on
July 19 at Brooklyn Steel with support from two of New York’s best rising rappers,
Young M.A and
Dave East (the latter of whom is signed to Nas’ Mass Appeal Records).
Biz Markie is your DJ for the evening. To get in,
RSVP via Pandora now.
Yesterday, Nas helped break the very sad news that fellow Queensbridge rapper Prodigy of Mobb Deep
passed away at age 42. Young M.A and Biz Markie were among
the many artists to pay tribute.
The Queens rapper plays a Queens show when he performs at day three (9/17) of
The Meadows at Citi Field, the same day as Ghostface Killah, Action Bronson, and more. Nas’ frenemy Jay Z (who just
announced a new album) headlines day one.
Nas also
goes on tour with his “If I Ruled The World” collaborator
Lauryn Hill, including a
Jersey show right before The Meadows. Updated Nas dates are listed below.
