So who is season 5 based on so I can google search the narco?

there is literally zero information about this “upcoming” season other than it has been renewed for an upcoming season and that was announced last december...unfortunately I’ve seen shows announced they’d be renewed and still got cancelled...there’s not even a release date...on everything I will never get a netflix subscription again if they cancel this show

Even with the Netflix polish I hope it's not El Chapo, hombreh already got two shows about him.

Its highly unlikely based on where Chapo was in Narcos Mexico(just starting out in the 80s)

He didn't become the Chapo people know him as til nearly 20 years later

They couldn't foresee the future, but the biggest mistake was condensing the golden years of narco fukkery into 1 season (first season).

They could have stretched 5 seasons from that at least. They barely touched on the Miami side.
