when Pacho shows up...you see the difference between a real don and wannabes :wow:

not Walmart George dress shirts tucked into wrangler jeans wit cowboy boots for Pacho...rockin that real drug lord swag :banderas:

also, I think Pena might end up being the only narrator I actually like :francis:

The scene closer to reality was the other scene with Azul running the meeting with the plaza bosses, except in reality, it was Felix's lawyer conducting the meeting. Felix decided how the organization would be broken up and still led it from prison until the early 90s, when they moved him to maximum security.

yeah alot of the real story got change in this show to make things more dramatic and to make the character more likeable or relate able .

Nah, ZeroZeroZero series just started broadcasting in Italy. There are some streams and torrents out there, but no English subtitles yet. I started watching the 1st episode, but lost a lot in translation. I may just wait until March 6th when the series hits Amazon Prime Video, with the proper subtitles.

Since the same writer of Gomorrah did this, I expect this to be a truly gritty series in the same breath. No need to glorify either side, nor have heroes and villains. Just tell the story and let people absorb and debate. So far, it seems on that path. Narcos could learn from this style of writing and execution.

Yeah, but they made it seem like Pacho was up in Mexico punking Felix in his house. He wouldn't have left Mexico. Straight Hollywood stuff. Imagine some Mexican cat doing the same in Pablo's or even the Ochoa's ranch. Pure fantasy.
