I am sorry Disney made this character so uninteresting for me. I really do not care to ever see Moon Knight again in any MCU film or series. I am sure the character is way more appealing in the comics.

I had that same thought the first two or 3 episodes. I was actually about to give up on the show, but the last 3 episodes kept my attention. Steven is annoying as shyt though.
As for Steven. I read that Oscar Issac says he was inspired by Frank Spencer who was a character in a UK show called some mothers doing ave em. UK brehs will know of it.
You can see he lifted the entire characterisation, voice and mannerisms from the show.
Frank Spencers voice is very annoying though, I’m not sure why Oscar went with it.
shyt was annoying at first, but i warmed up to him by the finale.
When was that established?I actually liked the gods fighting, but put people that I was watching with didn't get how all of that was going on in the background, like they didn't understand that all of that was happening in the astral/spiritual world while Marc and Harrow were duling it out on the physical plane.
When was that established?
The show had the afterlife, memory, the Dr Harrow level, real world, the Giza temple, and the street level all in one episode so I don’t think you can fault people for that.
A couple instances where they make that clear is when he's fighting the jackals in the museum. He's trying to run the footage back and you can't see any of that. This scene as well.
And nah you can't fault someone for not catching it but I kinda had to explain when the gods started fighting like kaiju, they weren't actually in the 3D, nobody could see them back there duking it out. They can only affect the phyiscal world so much without being embodied, hence the need for avatars.
And beyond the comics that's a common theme with various dieties needing a physical aparatus to interact with the material world. Essentially using the body like a micoscope.
