So we didn't see Bucky killing ppl as The Winter Soldier? We didn't see Wanda responsible for the deaths of hundreds of people in Cap America Civil War?

Not to mention Hulks rampages.

I saw Baron Zemo put a gun to his head to blow his brains out until BP stepped in.

I saw Iron Man try to kill Bucky and get beat to a bloody pulp.

As far as the character joining the Avengers, the Avengers aren't even a thing anymore. But Moon Knight and his violent ways definitely belong in the MCU.

I’m talking about how the character is characterized not the level of brutality which for some reason you’re projecting onto a point I was never talking about to begin with.

Moon Knight here is clearly an anti hero who would fit in more with characters like Punisher, Ghost Rider, Elektra etc than The Avengers.

These characters are created to crossover in Avengers movie and not stand in isolation which means Moon Knight will have to crossover with other Avengers at some point.

I keep asking you. What Avenger has killed a person in the movies when they didn’t have to like we saw with Moon Knight in this episode? What Avenger has been characterized with a violent personality in the movies?

Looks like Steven will teach Marc to be less violent, that's how there going to justify softening him up for Disney +

I would not be surprised if we a have a female Moon Knight by the end of the show.

This show is great! It’s complex as fukk and still manages to tie everything in together neatly. There’s a dynamic here that we really haven’t seen with any other tv show before much less a superhero one.

I think a lot of you brehs are just really slow and too dense to understand
what is the dynamic here that is so complex that has never been done on TV before?

This episode was pretty :francis:

Show feels very cheap, despite the amount of money they've probably pumped into this.

tonally its all over the place. Very goofy, and I hope their not setting it up to use his wife as an avatar for this evil goddess. Give us a twist please.

Also not liking how easy it is for moon knight to get overpowered by guys with staffs. He looked like a damn jobber. Also the fight choreography was

:scusthov:

These MCU shows are starting to get a rep for me and not a good one. These shyts need an overhaul. Maybe Ms Marvel will impress and switch up the formula a bit

Y’all see it too?:francis:

These Disney shows have mostly been 6-hour filler movies, with a cameo or surprise to reel you back in around episode 4 or 5. The biggest problem they have is that they feel like promotion leading up to something else, which they are, in a sense. Fatws… cap4 Wanda vision…scarlet witch.
Moonlight will probably get his own movie, and this feels like a promotion for that. Marvel isn’t letting these shows be great on their own. The tone of this show is too inconsistent. Ethan hawke just isn't believable, a lil leg sweep would end his shyt.

Did they really have to turn the brother into a thumbtack holder?:birdman:

It’s not Hawke for me. It’s just they made two key mistakes.

If you use a “don’t resurrect X” plot then you have to establish why X is so dangerous. We know nothing about why Amit is imprisoned/dead vs all the other Egyptian gods(which made the council scene even less effective). Half the world got dusted, what is this crocodile chick going to do?

And two, the cult leader thing is only effective when we understand why people are drawn to him/her. (Superman and Lois is doing a better version of this). Instead of Arthur being couched in Minority Report logic, they should have rooted in the chaos of living in the MCU. A giant statue monster in the Indian Ocean. The snap. Amit and Arthur will bring control to the uncontrollable.

Exactly
They could have used all of that, instead they go with these unknown stakes. Everything’s too vague. What is Ethan giving the cult? Coli daps? Risking they’re lives for this dude for no reason really. Marvel has a problem with saving its good storylines for the big screen only.

Bucky is practically an avenger and he killed the parents of another avenger, the most beloved avenger at that. He snapped mama starks neck :picard:

Hard to believe he doesn't know its post snap. I'm thinking he's talking timeline in regards to NWH or Dr. Strange but we know its post snap due to the existence of the the GRC that was introduced in Falcon/WS.
