brehs, these sales are amazing no matter what. yes, thats an increase and its 4 years later. but recovery came out in 2010 and sold 740k first week, increasing its first week sales from relapse by 150k more just 1 year after. clearly, mmlp 2 is going to outsell both albums from the looks of it. but marshall is over 40. it would be nice to see him make a dope album with sick beats like relapse (minus the accents) and try to cement his legacy instead of trying to sell 5 more million. i know the decision might not be his and more interscopes, but i just thought with all this promo he got and naming the album mmlp2, even doing a goofy single again, he would at least go plat first week and make it worth the while.

cement his legacy with who? Hip Hop fans who dont support his music....said it many time but the people saying they want the relapse em are the same people who downloaded relapse and didnt support the project

Hip Hop fans need to stop complaining if they arent going to support with their $$$

According to Billboard, the album sold 792,000 copies in its first week, giving it the second-highest debut sales week for any 2013 album. "MMLP2" was bested only by Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience" which released in March to a 968,000-selling week.

Eminem counted his seventh No. 1 album with the record. "MMLP2" is the rapper's biggest success in recent years, earning a higher debut than that of his 2009 album "Relapse" and 2010's "Recovery."

it aint all about lyrics, plenty other rappers have bars but can they make actual songs

the hate :whew: if your so mad that YOUR favorite rappers ALAWYS bricks. go out and BUY their albums

cant make a song?

I can feel the heat rising
Everything is on fire
Today's a painful reminder of why
We can only get brighter
The further you put it behind ya
And right now I'm on the inside
Looking out, cause

[Hook – Sia:]
I'm standing in the flames
and it's a beautiful kind of pain
Setting fire to yesterday
Find a light, find a light, find a light
Standing in the flames
and it's a beautiful kind of pain
Setting fire to yesterday
Find a light, find a light, find a light

[Verse 1]
Yesterday was the tornado warning, today is like the morning after
Your world is torn in half.
you wake and let's wait to start the morning process
Rebuilding and you're still a work in progress.
Today is a whole new chapter, it's like an enormous ass.
The thunderstorm has passed ya.
your weather didn't poke his eyes out with the thorn bush that you used to smell the roses.
Stopped to inhale, can't even tell your nose is stuffed.
So focused on the bright side.
Then you floor the gas pedal and hit the corner fast,
the more asserted, never looking back, may hit the curb,
but everyday is a new learning curve as you steer through life.
Sometimes you might not wanna swerve but you have to to avert a disaster.
Lucky, no permanent damage,
'Cause they hurt you so bad.
It's like they murdered your ass and threw dirt on your casket,
but you returned from the ashes.
and that hurt that you have, you just converted to gasoline,
and while you're burning the past, standing at inferno and chant

[Hook – Sia]

[Verse 2]
So familiarize what having to swallow this pill is like
It happens all the time, they take your heart and steal your life
And it's as though you feel you've died because you've been killed inside
But yet you're still alive which means you will survive
Although today you may weep because you're weak and
Everything seems so bleek and hopeless
The light that you're seeking, it begins to seep in
That's the only thing keeping you from leaping off the motherfreaking deep end
And I'm pulling for you to push through this feeling
And with a little time that should do the healing
And by tomorrow you may even feel so good that you're willing
To forgive them even after all that shyt you been put through.
This feeling of resilience is building.
And the flames are burning quick as fire would through this building you're sealed in
But you're fireproof, and flame retardant you withstood it.
And as you climb up to the roof you're just chillin' and you look down
'Cause you're so over them you could put the heel of your foot through the ceiling.

As time passes, things change everyday
But wounds, wounds heal
But scars still remain the same
But tomorrow today's gone down in flames
Throw the match, set the past up place

So feel the fire beneath your feet
As you barely even perspire from the heat
Exhale deep and breathe a sigh of relief
And as you say goodbye to the grief
It's like watching the walls melt in your prison cell
But you've extinguished this living hell
Still a little piece of you dies, you scream

[Hook – Sia]

[Sia]
I feel the burn, watch the smoke as I turn rising,
a phoenix from the flames
I have learned, we're going to fight the world, fight
Now it feels with these wings that I will fly

Amazing numbers but since when as Eminem ever had weak numbers? "Infinite" days?, lol. He's still trailing Jay in #1 albums but with the double album credit this album should be certified 4x Platinum for sure. But I don't see much staying power on the charts with this one cause outside of the obvious single with Rihanna, I'm not sure what else he will release. But Em has a loyal fan base. But again good numbers for Slim.
