Clyde was a better on ball passer, for sure. But the way that you use Miller's shooting as a decoy can be just as valuable as playmaking. The Pacers would get guys open scoring opportunities just from that. I've seen him stand on the left wing, draw two defenders, and get a teammate a wide open go ahead corner three in game 7 of a playoff series. None of that was recorded in the box score.

Reggie was deadlier than Rip as a shooter period and also Reggie got to the line more frequently than Rip. There is no comparison.

You just named team records, I don't care bout that. I care about general performance and consistency. Reggie was 34 years old dropping 33 and 35 in back to back games against the Shaq Lakers. Ray Allen looked like a defensive liability trying to stick with him that same postseason.

Everybody knows about the Knicks in '95 but what about the series after where he put up 25.9 on 50/40/89; 66 TS% against the Magic. Just lost in history because it wasn't the Knicks and they lost. But he was great.

I didn't look it up. I went off memory. Clyde was considered on MJs level, and Reggie never was. That's the truth. Clyde didn't go left and dribbled with his head down, and still was a better player than Reggie. Reggie was barely a 20ppg scorer, and didn't do anything else. Clyde gave you scoring, rebounding, passing, and a little defense. The Pacers were built to model the Knicks (jump shooting C, scoring from the SG, and bruisers at the 3 & 4). Reggie was consistent, but he was never considered n MJ level, as Glide was. And the Pacers were never legitimate ccontenders until Jalen Rose was on that team. He's a Richmond/RIP type player.
