I was just thinking, I wonder why they didn't get into the "freeze out" at the All star game. That in part started the whole thing with Isiah
I think it started before that for isiah when bob knight - the man he saw as a father figure - called Michael Jordan "the greatest basketball player he's ever seen". Mike was only 21:mjgrin:

So knight coached zeke for 2 years and won a title with him

Knight: :russell:

Knight had Mike for a summer
Knight::ohmy:........:bow:

Isiah: :mad:

So you had knight choosing Mike over zeke, Chicago choosing Mike over zeke, nike and Gatorade choosing mike over zeke, stern choosing Mike over zeke and the dream team choosing Mike over zeke. Mike had breh feeling like a red headed step child. No matter how great he was, mj's greatness was greater. So great even those closest to him chose MJ over him. Mike was the favorite son.

Something that would take "The Last Dance" to the next level would be Jordan revealing that he really had a hangover in game 5 of the 97 finals.....That would be a huge bombshell. So I'm looking forward to episode 9.

Easy to say, but to do is something different. Mike didn't do anything but eat and breathe basketball. He lived to make folks bow to his greatness.

It's funny looking back at highlights. His game is still so modern. He would dominate in the league today. He had range from everywhere. Posted dudes up too. Shot 43% from 3 in one of his later years with the Bulls. Was at the top defensively. Just that dude.

I love how mike didn't need a good night's sleep or stayed doing taxing activities the day/night before a playoff or finals game.

Golfing all day with ainge the day before dropping 63 on the celtics, staying up late, playing cards with magic the night before the shrug game, golfing all day with barkley before dropping 55 on the suns, getting silly drunk the night before game 5 and playing with a hangover:mjlit:

Imagine if this dude actually rested:pachaha:

Are there any outlets to watch the episodes without the censoring? It's hard enough understanding Dennis Rodman's mumbling.

Jordan going in on the pacers :blessed:

At practice the day before Game 7, Phil Jackson counseled his players to find strength in vulnerability. "He said the important thing is to not fear losing," said Steve Kerr, a backup guard. "Embrace the idea you could lose. Face that. But before he could get started, Michael just said, 'F--- that, Phil. We're not losing.' We put our hands in the middle, said '1-2-3, Bulls!' and went home."

Jordan had already proclaimed in the media the Bulls would win Game 7. He was the ultimate trump card. "We had MJ, and no else did," said Jud Buechler, a Bulls reserve.

Anyone see the leaks?

I wonder why they didn't show Jordan bouncing the ball off of Mark Jackson's head in episode 8 at the end of the 98 regular season?
