A few more days. In this PC culture, I’m not certain how MJ’s a$$hole behavior is gonna go with people

His entire quote puts it into context

”When you see the footage of [me riding with Scotty Burrell], you're going to think that I'm a horrible guy,” Hehir remembers His Airness telling him before defending his aggressive approach. “But you have to realize that the reason why I was treating him like that is because I needed him to be tough in the playoffs and we're facing the Indiana's and Miami's and New York's in the Eastern Conference. He needed to be tough and I needed to know that I could count on him.”

That's cause the Spurs had Pop there to be the dikk. Every player that played there said he'd go the fukk off on Duncan on the regular to the point that nobody else could complain when he would go off on them. For the Bulls Jordan played that role. Every team needs someone to call out whatever is needed.

A coach holds all players accountable and you think this is being a jerk?

:gucci:

What kind of participation trophy generation logic is this?

Is you retarded? Show me where I said he's a jerk. I have no problem with MJ being hard on players or Pop being hard on players. I was saying that no matter the team somebody on that team is going to play that drill sergeant role regardless if it's one of the players or the coach.

Fam you came in with ya pom-poms out trying to defend Pop thinking I was trying to shyt on him. I love Pop and didn't say his approach was anything negative. Just said that he plays the role of the authoritarian that holds people accountable. I was saying it as a good thing.
