That team was an excellent squad that outspends the next NBA team by 30 million and had the right pieces for their style of offense and defense.
JT0 was the scorer outside of Dirk. He wasn't a star but he was a star in his role.
Tyson Chandler mobility made that zone defense deadly.
Dirk's offensive gravity helped Chandler and those around him.
Marion was older but his defense was damn near Iggy like that series v Bron. He could have had a case for Finals MVP.
Kidd and Brera dominated Bibby and Chalmers
Chandler was insane in this matchup. The fact that Anthony and Haslem couldn't get it done at the five was a killer and Chandler was a monster. His defense and PnRs with Kidd were golden.
What's crazy is Butler was out for most of the season but they were in 1st place till Dirk got hurt and they quickly regressed till he came back.
It was a great team they had in Dallas especially after getting the 1st seed the year before and losing in the 1st round to Baron Davis and GS.
Too much was made of those Heat. They struggled during the season to adjust. They had no PG or center as well as they lacked shooters outside of Miller who missed half of the season due to injuries. I think a lot of people forget about what happened that season but it's okay. The preseason 8 titles hype really bit them in the ass.
