People will not watch a movie called black panther about Lady Black Panther. shyt's mad stupid and they will lose money no matter if they have Namor and Doom in it. It's bigger than the passing of a great actor. We're talking about a historic comic coming from the 60's during the revolution of activist and black men. We're talking about die hard comic book fans that want to see there comic book movie on screen and not some FOX type Marvel movie completely inconsistent with the comics.
We already have a Monica Rambeau, Ironheart and the Marvel's movie.
T'Challa and Shuri can coexist into leadership just like the comics.
But I'm gonna be honest, I think Fiege and Coogler are tricking us into thinking T'Challa will not be recast. I think they already have an actor replacing him but will find a way to write him into continuity of the movie while paying homage to Boseman. I see Yaya being called up after his secret interview with Coogler.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II was almost cast as M'Baku in "Black Panther."

Abdul-Mateen II is yet another star who missed out on a Marvel film, only to end up in the DC universe soon after — he played Black Manta in "Aquaman." When Duke was announced as M'Baku (also called Man-Ape in the comics), Variety added in 2016 that Abdul-Mateen II had been in the running for M'Baku, as well.
That and the arrival of the fantastic 4 and mutants.
Tbh Yaya would be the kinda actor I'd love to see play Black Panther
