I wish people would stop even trying to act like those og gow games that barely sold a fraction of the last two would appeal to anybody in 2023 and beyond. Literally definition of a niche market.

First God Of War's weren't niche at all.

People that want the old god of war back are delusional. Those games sold 5 million copies, 2018 alone outsold the entire trilogy. If they did what other developers do and kept that formula going Santa Monica Studios would be out of business.

Nah, the OGs sold very well, just not what the newer reboot games. Those games didn't have the budgets the games nowadays have.

The original Greek God of War series was cool as hell. It sold but not like the new ones
