Can't under estimate a team playing to go to the Final Four. I'm sure they got up for this one and were going to leave it all on the court.....

It's not stupid, but it's not gospel either. Ken Pom has looked at years and years of examples and found it's basically 50/50

I think it should only come into play if you're up 3 with a second or two left. I'm sure most of the success is found in that scenario. Doing it with 6 seconds left is just inviting fukkery to happen, which it did.

Purdue losing in typical Purdue fashion, this is why I only bandwagon my school...always disappointing,
I don't think the decision to foul was that bad, even though it's a lame way to play. Incredibly lucky for Virginia to have tied it like that.
Time to pay 0 attention to college basketball until next march again.
