Looking @ Henry Cavill's imdb dude has the Witcher series and a video game voice over I assume on the horizon and that's it. Crazy, not that I'm a huge fan but he seems serviceable enough to be getting more work. What's happening here?

The Rock's wife is not a good manager, he apparently wanted A-list money to play Superman again which is why that Shazam scene ended up like it did since they planned on him making a cameo in the movie.

Partly but I also believe Cavill ain't really got much of a high rep in Hollywood. He's never been one of those media trained actors spouting the usual nonsense (only on occasion), dude was doing some promotion for MoS and BvS saying shyt like he just loves the money he is making or how much more famous he got and whatnot.

Stuff like that is too honest for 'La La Land' where every actor and actress gotta play up how "next door" and "down to earth" they are in every interview for relatability to their fanbase. That promotional press stuff is like half the game and he doesn't play it, so if he plays hardball about his contract too he won't get far.

I've said it before but that movie was too much of a clusterfukk to be accidental. After they finish the JL:Mortal doc I need tptb to get on this one.

Hate all y'all want but out of all the live action Superman flicks that existed before it. Man of Steel was the best one. Shame they're letting it die

Bruh it wasn't a clusterfukk IMO. Underwhelming? Sure. But it was a solid ensemble film. 7/10. If it had grossed 100-200 mil we'd be in the clear for a sequel to address the issues. it sucks.

I watched it again last week and I agree. It was the first time watching it in years. Had the blu ray collecting dust for years and decided to pull it out. Shame that we won't get a sequel.
