And in all honesty. While i havent seen that much of either Luka or Trae i'll admit Luka has impressed me more than Trae has even tho I didnt expect Trae to be as good as he is now. That's saying a lot about Luka because Trae's burned my team in 2 out of 3 meetings so far averaging 21 pts, 12 assists against us. Once Trae improves his FG% he could really be Curry-like, tho
And Luka is only 19 y/o while Trae is 20, BTW.
Both kids may be legit stars in the future

And I noticed the analytic cacs, as well as @Gil Scott-Heroin, who use nothing but advanced stats to judge a player, who used nothing but advanced stats to tell everyone why Fluka was the best prospect since Lebron, are now conveniently using raw numbers. A few weeks ago on NBAtv, they talked about his trash net rating, one of them nerdy cacs got on there and lied about how he's getting no help. Then come to find out the Mavs are better when he's off the court.

Let me preface this by saying JJJ is legit and I think he's the 2nd best rookie after Luka.

You're running around pinning your shyt on ONE JJJ game.

The reason why Luka is so impressive is because he's doing this shyt consistently. He's had like 5 bad games all year. Night in, night out, he's more often than not doing great things.

Dropped 31 on the Spurs. Clutch against the Warriors when we beat them. Even more clutch against the Lakers in Staples (even though we lost the game). Had a great game vs Houston in Toyota a couple weeks ago. And now this, single-handedly taking over a game vs Harden and Paul. 11 straight points to win the game.

And you got ONE JJJ game you cling onto.

So who's really tryna program nikkas

Luka averaging more Points. More Assists. More Rebounds. Taking over more games. Shows up in the clutch more.

Literally the only thing JJJ has consistently done better, objectively, on a night-in night-out basis is get Blocks.

Luka has better averages across the board while running an NBA offense at the age of 19 and you're furious.

I look forward to you still taking about that Grizzlies-Nets game in April.

And since you like analytics, you should do a little more research. Mavs have a negative net rating when Doncic AND DSJ are on the floor together. The rating skyrockets up to OVER +11 net rating when Doncic is on and DSJ sits.

The problem isn't Doncic. It's DSJ. But I wouldn't expect you to know that since you're still on your 56th view of JJJ vs Nets highlights and coming up with corny ass nicknames for the ROY.

Well, it's blatantly obvious that you don't pay enough attention to my posts: I must say I do find this funny after you've cited more stats around his play than I have. Go figure. I wasn't even high on him going into the draft (I even mentioned in another thread that JJJ and MPJ were the only two who caught my eye in this class), for the simple reason I had only seen scouting videos, and not any real-time game footage; in fact I thought it would take him a while to get adjusted (particularly due to his build/athleticism), but he soon put that shyt to rest after I saw a couple games of his play.

I don't particularly care for his "advanced stats", or any of this other straw man shyt you're trying to force into the argument because of this disdain you have for analytic cacs. If you were real about it, you'd learn to separate the two and value what's happening on the court, than to overlay the fictive into a distorted image of what you want to see.
